BOOKING THAT SLAYS.

For the stylists, the studios that rent to them, and the rent that holds it together. Studios stop chasing checks. Stylists keep their clients. One operating system, two sides of the chair.

Free for stylists when their studio is on ChairSlay. Studio plans start at $99 per location.

two-sided questions

What you both
want to know.

Is this salon software, or property management?
Both. Rental salons are commercial real estate dressed up as hair. ChairSlay treats the studio as a landlord (rent, compliance, leases, 1099s) and the stylist as a tenant (booking, CRM, taxes), with a privacy line in between. Most salon software ignores the rent half; most property software ignores the booking half. We don't.
Can the studio see my client list?
No. Studio admins see anonymous busy blocks on the space calendar — never client names, service details, prices, or revenue. Your client records, appointment notes, and photo + formula vault are stylist-private by policy and by code. Export to CSV anytime — your data, always.
Do you take a cut of my service revenue?
Never. Your service revenue is yours, full stop. Our take is a flat platform fee on the transaction layer — 1% on card rent, 0.3% on client card payments routed through ChairSlay — never a slice of what your clients pay you for the work. A percent-of-service rent would compromise your independent-contractor status with the IRS, and we won't even let your studio configure one.
What if I'm a stylist and my studio isn't on ChairSlay?
We're studio-first for V1 — your studio joins, you're free. We're working on a stylist-direct path for solo chair renters in independent suites; ping us if you're one.
How does the sublet workflow work?
Primary stylist proposes the dates, the sublet stylist's contact, and the rate. Studio approves (or denies). Sublet stylist uploads their own license + insurance before the window activates. The split routes itself — your normal rent goes through, the sublet fee splits 70/30 between you and the studio per default (configurable).
What does year-end actually look like?
January click-of-a-button. Stylist downloads a Schedule-C packet (revenue, rent expense, processing fees, categorized by month). Studio generates 1099-NECs for every qualifying payee — Track1099-import-ready CSV. Done before your CPA opens their inbox.
